The Parabolic, developed by J. Welles Wilder, is a directional trailing stop & reverse indicator based on an accelerated exponential moving average of the recent highs or lows. It is adjusted by the factor Acc. Factor and has a maximum factor Max. Acc. whenever the price makes a new high or low.
